About the Role
Candidates will be on-site with our MARTA partner.
They will have the great physical endurance to cover large spaces. A keen eye for detail and diligence is imperative in the custodial maintenance field. We are looking for a responsible team player to maintain our facilities. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and maintaining the premises.
At least one year of industry experience with high-pressure equipment preferred.
Supervisor experience, minimum one YEAR.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 35 pounds (Heavy Equipment)
Responsibilities
Sweep, collect trash, and replace trash bags.
Wipe & disinfect the escalator, card machine, and all chrome objects.
Ensure the storage area and cart are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, clearing the job site, and storing equipment correctly.
Follow all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury.
Report ANY major damages.
DAY SHIFT MAY ALSO INCUDES maintaining commercial spaces through routine cleaning and maintenance.
Clearing debris with a power wash to maintain interior and exterior of property.
Cleaning elevators by disinfecting, applying concentrated solutions, and drying surfaces.
Skills:
Proven experience as custodian, janitor, or in a similar role.
Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
Attention to detail and concise.
Very good physical condition and strength.
*JANITORIAL CLEANING/PREFERRED WITH AT LEAST YEAR OF SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE*

Requirements
Must have at least ONE YEAR of custodial/janitorial supervision experience.
Must have experience dealing with heavy-machinery.
Must be a team-player, reliable, and able to manage and maintain a team of 6+.
Must be able to pass a national background check and drug test.
Must have a personal vehicle.
